Squid oil is the waste produced in processing squid. At present, many squid processing regions and enterprises in China discard these components, causing great waste and environmental pollution. Some enterprises with certain capabilities add these oils to feed. Fish oil contains more unsaturated fatty acids, which are easy to be oxidized and rancid to produce oysters. However, due to the low added value of feed, it is impossible to further process the crude oil. In order to make full use of this part of resources, its oil should be processed into health products to fully increase the added value.

Fresh squid viscera was used as raw material to extract squid viscera oil by light alkali hydrolysis. The effects of hydrolysis time, pH, ratio of material to liquid, hydrolysis temperature and salting out amount on the extraction rate of squid visceral oil were studied respectively. The extraction conditions were as follows: hydrolysis time 90
